Lisa Charles Watson
Lisa Charles Watson finds her inspiration in the iconic imagery of Edward Weston and Irving Penn. A native New Yorker, her work has graced the editorial pages of major publications for the past 25 years. She lives and works in the historic Chelsea District. Her compositions concentrate on color, texture and depth in a myriad of objects, both natural and man made.
Her studio, a natural light space with views of the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline, allows her the room and freedom to compose her quietly elegant images. She shares her life with her husband, their two children and their dog Jack.
